How do I know what color service to schedule?

Depending on your desired hair color, we may schedule a separate color consultation to ensure proper timing.

Why do I need to schedule a consultation if I want a dramatic color change?

We want to give you the quality you deserve. We also want to be realistic with you in regards to the necessary process to create your customized color. We schedule a complimentary consultation to ensure a better understanding of the timing and services needed. We need to assess your current hair color; the health of your hair and your desired the end result. These transitions can require multiple services and/or multiple visits depending on the process.

What is Balayage?

A French word meaning “to sweep,” balayage is a specialty highlighting technique used to create a gradual, natural looking effect with a soft grow out.

Do you work with straight hair?

What is a Curly Haircut?

A Curly Haircut is a specialized haircut for naturally wavy, curly and supercurly hair (and all the textures in between). The technique is customized for your specific curl type and pattern.

How is a Curly Haircut different from a traditional haircut?

A Curly Haircut takes a personalized approach to you and your curls. Our Curl Specialists will start by creating your shape, then cleansing and hydrating your hair while teaching you proper product application for your curls.

What can I expect with a Curly Haircut?

We always start with a thorough consultation, followed by cutting your hair in its dry, natural state. We will educate you on proper cleansing, how to achieve maximum hydration, and a personalized styling lesson. We will also teach you about the products that will give you the best results for your curls to reach their full potential. Once your hair is dry, your stylist will finish customizing your haircut. We take pride in helping you love your curls!

How do I need to wear my hair when I come in for a Curly haircut?

Before coming in for a Curly Haircut, whether it’s your first visit or we’ve worked with you before, we ask that you refrain from using heavy butter, oils, and silicone-based products before your appointment. To get the most out of your Curly Haircut, we recommend you come in with your hair clean, detangled, dry & down in its most natural state. We ask that you do not have your hair pulled back in any way (no ponytails, braids, buns, top knots, etc.) because we need to see where your curls naturally fall.

If your hair is pulled back in any way, we may need to reschedule.

Please come in with hair that’s been cleansed within 24-36 hours of your scheduled appointment.

If you have heavy product buildup, we may need to do a detox. Once heavy butters, oils & silicones are removed from the surface, re-hydration will need to occur. If we need to do a detox, detangle, and/or an intense hydration service, additional charges may apply.
